French & Indian War Sailors

Sailors had considerable employment during the French & Indian War, not only as might be expected in manning craft along coastlines rivers and lakes and forming landing parties, but frequently as detachments for land service. Prominent British Royal Navy examples are during the Monongahela campaign and throughout the war as escort parties for land logistics especially in the Lake George Corridor.
